Garner is an accomplished Minister of Music, composer, singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer whose passion for spreading the Gospel through music has impacted lives for more than four decades. Born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina and raised in Washington, D.C., Norris began developing his musical gifts at an early age and soon discovered a lifelong calling to ministry through music.

Known for his excellence in worship leadership, choir development, and music ministry training, Norris has faithfully served churches across the United States as a musician, choir director, and Minister of Music. His ministry combines spiritual sensitivity, musical excellence, and a deep commitment to inspiring worship across generations and cultures.

As a gifted songwriter and composer, Norris has written more than 100 gospel songs for choirs, soloists, and worship teams. His signature song, 'He's Blessing Me,' gained national recognition through the GMWA Mass Choir and was later published in the Lead Me Guide Me and Total Praise hymnals. Other notable compositions include 'Magnify Him,' 'Let Freedom Ring,' 'Highest Praise,' 'God Is,' and 'Holy Is the Lamb.'

Norris' ministry extends beyond the United States to international workshops, concerts, and worship gatherings throughout Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and the United Kingdom, where he has trained choirs, musicians, and worship leaders in the universal language of praise.

Currently serving as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Merrifield in Falls Church, Virginia, Norris continues to inspire congregations through worship, teaching, songwriting, and music ministry leadership. His life and ministry remain anchored in the belief that music anointed by God carries the power to heal, deliver, and transform lives.
