Dr. Michaiah Hinds is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and an ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). He is a devoted husband and the father of three children.

Dr. Hinds is the founder of Christ N College, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students throughout their collegiate journey. The organization equips students with the power and purpose of Scripture and prayer, empowers them to build healthy Christian relationships, and encourages them to serve and transform their communities.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and Computer Science from Tennessee State University. He later received his Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity. In 2021, Dr. Hinds completed his Doctor of Theology degree at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. His dissertation, Introducing the Black Lives Matter Generation to the Black Church, explores engaging a new generation within the historic Black Church tradition.

Dr. Hinds currently serves as the College Elder for the College Ministry at Evangel Fellowship Church of God in Christ in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role, he leads an on-campus Bible study each Wednesday evening for an average of 120 college students and oversees more than 200 students each Sunday.

Dr. Hinds is passionate about impacting the next generation of church leaders through preaching, motivational speaking, teaching, coaching, and mentoring.
