FORTNITE GAME NIGHT
As part of our Youth Ministry’s King-dom Kickback Series, we will host Fortnite Game Night on Friday, February 8th from 6:00pm-9:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. The evening will consist of a devotional, wing bar, board games, card games, but most importantly the game Fortnite. Students in 5th-12th Grades are encouraged to attend and bring a friend. Advance registration is required and ends on February 6th.You may register online or at the Information Desk. The registration fee is $7.00 per person. ANNUAL HBCU FESTIVAL
Our youth will be traveling to the 17th Annual HBCU College Festival in Washington, DC, February 22-23, 2019. The cost for our students will be $100 which includes lodging, transportation, and meals. To attend students must be in 6th -12th grade. Registration packets and sign-up sheets are available online as well as at the welcome desk. The registration deadline is Sunday, February 10, 2019. HBCU COLLEGE FESTIVAL
Our middle and high school students will be traveling to the 17th Annual HBCU College Festival in Washington, DC\; February 22-24, 2019. The festival is an annual event for students to learn about the opportunities offered by Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Students will be able to speak with representatives of approximately 80 HBCUs to understand what their institutions offer academically and socially. Some of these institutions will offer on-site admissions, waive application fees, and offer financial assistance. The festival has seminars on subjects related to applying to and attending college, including sources of financial assistance. Vendors and External Organizations (Fraternities, Sororities, and other Service Organizations) will be present at the festival. To attend students must be currently in 6th -12th grade.
The cost for UMMBC students will be $100 which includes lodging, transportation, and meals. Please sign-up promptly as space is limited.\n
