The Birthday Fellowship Ministry will Meet in the chapel directly following 11:00am service.

Sunday, December 16th, the UMMBC Annual Christmas Banquet will be held at the Benton Convention Center 2:00pm – 4:30pm. Cost of tickets for members: adults: $25.00 children: $10.00 (10 years and under) Guest of Members: $30.00. Additional details will be made available in the coming weeks. Ticket sales will start today, October 7th through December 2nd. Tickets are available Each Sunday at the 4th and 5th street exits and In the Main Office Tuesday-Friday.



2019 Budget Requests Forms are now available at the Information Desk and church website. For the budget year 2019, your budget request forms should be submitted to the church office no later than Monday, October 8th. If you have any questions about completing the budget form, please contact via email Rev. Martin or Mr. Warren Leggett.

All youth, Children and Youth Ministries will be collecting pennies for Samaritan Ministries’ Penny Campaign. The Penny Campaign kicks off October 1st. From October to December, you will see Samaritan Ministries penny jars in schools, churches and other locations collecting change, bills and checks.

The New Members’ Class will take a 'field trip' during Orientation, 9:30am - 10:30am, on Sunday in October 14th. We will introduce you to the historic locations in the city that are significant to our local African American community. Please see Allan Younger to sign up - current members are invited, dependent on seat availability.

Sisters! Let’s continue our Bible Study discus-sion from The Armor of God over Dinner.

Sunday, October 28th: The Endowment Scholarship Committee Information Meeting will take place in the Fellowship Hall immediately following the 11:00am service. 



First Sunday, October 7th: 

Rev. Armstead will be in attendance at worship—Rev. Headen will deliver the message at both services. 

Second Sunday, October 14th: 

Rev. Armstead will be in attendance at worship (tentative). Rev. Headen will deliver the message at both services. Immedi-ately following the 11:00am service, Rev. and Mrs. Headen will be honored during an Appreciation Reception in the Fellow-ship Hall. 

Third Sunday, October 21st: 

Rev. Armstead will deliver the message at both services. 



October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. UMMBC will observe its 9th “Worship in Pink” Service on Sunday, October 28th. Breast Cancer survivors will be acknowledged at both the 8:00am and 11:00am services. Breast Cancer materials are available in the Fellowship Hall during the month of October.
